(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) In the early morning of May 31, 2013, County of Wellington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers had initiated a R.I.D.E. Program at the intersection of Wellington County Road 124 and Jones Baseline in the Township of Guelph-Eramosa. At approximately 12:24am, Police spoke to a male driver of a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado. He showed signs of alcohol consumption and the driver was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
David USITALO age 59 of Whitefish, Ontario has been charged with Over 80 mgs, and Impaired Driving contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on July 19, 2013 to answer to the charge.
