(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Friday March 25, 2011 around the noon hour, Perth County OPP officers were called to a rural residence on Perth Line 72 east of Donegal where a suspicious pickup truck and trailer was observed in the laneway.
Upon police arrival, two males were located on the property and evidence indicated that they had removed items from the house and shed. The men were arrested and the stolen items were recovered.
David Spies (34) of Cambridge and Troy Taibinger (36) of Walkerton have both been charged with breaking and entering, being in possession of property obtained by crime and with breaching their probation. Mr. Taibinger is also charged with failing to comply with an undertaking or recognizance. Both men remain in custody and are to appear for a bail hearing in Stratford Court on Monday March 28, 2011.
