Darren JORDAN – Wanted By Police – Picture Released

Brampton – A warrant of arrest has been issued for Darren JORDAN a 35 year old male from Brampton in relation to a Human Trafficking investigation that occurred in Brampton and throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

In July, 2013, the victim contacted Peel Regional Police and advised that a male introduced her to prostitution and had her work throughout the GTA. The victim earned a large sum of money during the time she worked as a prostitute under the control of the male. The male was physically and emotionally abusive to the victim and threatened to kill her if she wanted to leave the sex trade.

In July, 2013, Peel Regional Police arrested Darren JORDAN in relation to this investigation. He was charged with the following offences:

Procuring a Person to Become a Prostitute

Living on Avails of Prostitution

Exercising Control Over a Person to Aid Them in Engaging in Prostitution

Trafficking in Persons

Receiving Benefit Resulting From Trafficking in Persons

Assault x 4

Assault with a Weapon

Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm

On May 9, 2016, Darren JORDAN failed to appear for his Superior Court trial and a bench warrant was issued for:
