(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) On December 11, 2011 just prior to 7:00 p.m. a Huron County OPP officer conducted a traffic stop of a Chrysler traveling northbound on London Road. The officer detected the driver had been drinking alcohol. The driver failed the roadside screening device; therefore he was immediately arrested and transported to the Walkerton detachment to provide two samples of his breath to a qualified Breath Technician.

As a result, Darren DIEMERT (43) of Greenock TWP, ON has been charged with Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol contrary to section 253(1)(b) Criminal Code of Canada. He will answer to the charge in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on January 23, 2012.
