(PUSLINCH TWP, ON.) – On Sunday October 14, 2012 at about 12:46pm members of the County of Wellington OPP were conducting moving radar and monitoring traffic on County Road 34 just east of Town Line Road, in Puslinch Twp. At this time and location Constable Ian Donaldson observed a westbound 2003 Pontiac Montana travelling well above the speed limit. Police clocked the auto on radar at 120 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. The driver’s licence has been suspended and vehicle seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Daniel Cornelsen aged 53 of Cambridge has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on December 5, 2012 to answer to the charge.
