(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Saturday May 12, 2012, a Perth County OPP officer on patrol stopped a Ford Ranger pickup truck on Perth Road 113 south of Stratford. The officer spoke to the driver and detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. The driver failed a roadside breath test and was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.
Daniel Clark (56) of Bayfield has been charged with “operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of bloodâ€Â. He is scheduled to appear in Stratford Court on June 25, 2012 to answer to this charge. He was also issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
