(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On May 25, 2019 members of the Grey-Bruce Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) spot check on Grey Road 13 and Concession 8 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
At approximately 2:28 p.m. a pick-up truck travelling southbound on Grey Road 13 approached the R.I.D.E. spot check. The officer detected an odour of an alcoholic beverage on the driver’s breath and, as a result, a roadside breath test was administered which registered a fail”.
The driver was transported to the Markdale Detachment for further breath tests. As a result of the tests
