The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 88 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Three people were arrested.
Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK15008511
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on numerous outstanding warrant.
On March 18, 2015, the man failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On March 24, 2015, the man failed to comply with a Probation Order on four occasions and committed a Break and Enter.
On March 28th, 2015 in the evening a 23 year old Chatham man was located and arrested. He was taken into custody and held pending a bail hearing.
Man Charged with Assault CK15008478
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following an Assault and Mischief complaint in Chatham.
Yesterday afternoon around noon a disturbance began between two males and a female. The incident escalated into a physical altercation as the man punched the other male in the mouth and the woman in the nose. The woman was able to contact police. The victims sustained minor injuries.
The accused was located and arrested. The 60-year-old Chatham man has been charged with 2 counts of assault and one count of mischief. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Break and Enter in Chatham CK15008550
The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information regarding a break and enter in Chatham in the area of Keil Dr. South.
At approximately 5am on March 29, 2015 unknown suspect broke the front window at the business and gained entry. Once inside, the suspect stole a vintage ring containing a blue stone.
