CK15000814 – Break and Enter, Theft
Sometime between January 10th at 10 p.m. and January 11th at 4:30 a. m., unknown suspect(s) attended an address on Stanley Ave. in Chatham. The suspect(s) then entered the residence by forcing their way through the side door. Once inside, culprits removed a quantity of items. In addition, the same suspect(s) entered into the rear yard of the neighbouring property but made no entry into this residence; however, a vehicle parked at this residence was entered and several items were stolen from that vehicle. CK15000879 – Impaired Arrest
On January 10th at approx. 1:25 a.m. the Chatham-Kent Police Service received a call regarding a possible Impaired Driver swerving all over the roadway on Grand Ave east in Chatham. Officers immediately attended the area and located the vehicle. As a result, a 29 year old Grand Valley female was arrested for Impaired Driving. In addition to the Impaired Driving charge she also refused to provide a sample of her breath and now faces another charge of Refusing to provide a proper sample of her breath. She was later released from custody with a future court date.
