The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 101 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Seven people were arrested.
Robbery
On January 23, 2015 shortly after 11pm the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a robbery at Godfathers Pizza located at 71 Marlborough Street in Blenheim. A lone suspect entered the store passing a note to the clerk demanding money. An undisclosed amount of cash was turned over to the suspect who then fled on foot. No weapon was used during the robbery and the store clerk was not injured .
The suspect is described as having a slender build, approximately 5’7†in height and wearing camouflage pants, coat and green ski mask.

Man charged with Failing to Comply
The Chatham-Kent Police have arrested a man for breaching his release conditions for the second time in three days.
On January 21, 2015 a 29-year-old Chatham man was released on a recognizance for breaching his conditions. Two of these conditions stated he was to reside at a particular address and notify the Chatham-Kent Police in writing if that address should change.
On January 23, 2015 officers conducted a residence check and found him to be disobeying these two conditions. After completing the investigation officers located the man and he was arrested for 2 counts of breaching his recognizance and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man Charged with Failing to Comply
The Chatham-Kent Police have arrested a man for breaching his release conditions.
In January, 2015 a 31-year-old Chatham man was released on a recognizance with a condition to obey by a curfew.
On January 24, 2015 in the early morning hours officers conducted a residence check to ensure he was following this condition and found him not to be in his residence. About 3 hours later officers observed a taxi driving on Park Street in Chatham and followed it to a residence. The man got out of the taxi and was arrested by police.
The man is charged with breaching his recognizance and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
