The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 65 calls for service in the last 24 hours. No one was arrested.

Stolen Vehicle in Wallaceburg CK15008558

The Chatham-Kent police are looking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen truck.

Sometime between March 28, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. and March 29, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. unknown suspect(s) stole an unlocked 2013 black Ford F-150 truck from the CBD parking lot on Dufferin Avenue. The truck was last seen with Ontario licence plates 875 9YV and has the letters STX in multi colours on both sides of the box near the rear ties. The truck also has a black 2” stainless steel trailer hitch.

Theft in Ridgetown CK15008590

The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information regarding the theft of a utility trailer.

Sometime within the last week, unknown suspect(s) stole an Interstate white utility trailer from a shop on Marsh Street. The trailer was last seen with Ontario licence plates P145 541. The trailer contained four portable fluorescent signs with computer graphics valued at $60,000.

Theft in Chatham CK15008579

The Chatham-Kent police are hoping the public can assist with a theft investigation.

Sometime over the weekend, unknown suspect(s) stole the tailgate, box cover, hub cap, head rest with built in DVD players and electronics from a black GMC Sierra pick-up truck parked on Riverview Drive. Total value of the theft is estimated at $8000.

Mischief in Chatham CK15008602

The Chatham-Kent police are requesting the public’s assistance regarding a mischief.

Sometime between March 27, 2015 and March 29, 2015 unknown suspect(s) slashed the front passenger tire of an orange Pontiac Sunfire parked on Taylor Avenue. The tire sustained three puncture holes. Damage was estimated at $150.

Traffic Enforcement CK15008553

Yesterday, members of the Community Patrol Branch conducted traffic enforcement throughout the city of Chatham.

Sixteen motorists were stopped and charged with various Highway Traffic Act offences.
