The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 125 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Seven people were arrested. Three of the seven people arrested were charged with failing to comply with their release conditions.
Police Execute Drug Warrant CK15001359
Last night, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section executed a search warrant with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team on Princess Street in Chatham.
Methamphetamine, cash and other drug paraphernalia were seized.
A 46-year-old man, 22-year-old woman and 18-year-old woman, all from Chatham were arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. They were all released with conditions pending a future court date.
Man Charged with Domestic Related Offences CK15001315
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a domestic disturbance in Chatham.
Yesterday morning, a woman contacted police requesting assistance in removing her boyfriend from her residence. Upon arrival, the woman disclosed to the officer that she had been assaulted by the man earlier in the week which resulted in her requiring medical attention.
A 30-year-old Chatham man has been charged with assault, aggravated assault and forcible confinement x2. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Break and Enter in Chatham CK15001384
The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information regarding a break and enter.
Sometime last night between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. unknown suspect(s) forced their way into a residence on Delaware Avenue causing about $200 damage. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole cash, jewelry and electronics valued at approximately $8000.

Motor Vehicle Collision in Dresden CK15001312
Yesterday morning, shortly after 9:00 a.m. police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on North Street. The driver lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway and struck a tree causing approximately $6000 damage. Luckily, she was not injured. The 32-year-old Dresden woman was charged with a Highway Traffic Act offence.
Motor Vehicle Collision in Chatham CK15001314
Around 9:45 a.m. yesterday morning, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Lacroix Street near Harvey Street. One driver sustained minor injuries. Total damage was estimated at $7000. A man was charged with failing to yield the right of way.
Motor Vehicle Collision in Raleigh Township CK15001354
Yesterday afternoon, around 4:20 p.m. police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Riverview Line near Drake Road. The driver lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway and slid into a ditch. Luckily, she was not injured. Damage was estimated at $4000. The 25-year-old Tilbury woman was charged with a Highway Traffic Act offence.
