Halton Regional Police is currently investigating a collision involving a school bus and a cyclist. The 10 year old female cyclist was transported to McMaster Hospital in serious condition.
This morning just before 9:00 am a school bus was turning left onto northbound Sixth Line from a plaza driveway, just south of Upper Middle Road.
The bus came into contact with the cyclist who was travelling along the sidewalk on the west side of the roadway.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit has responded to the scene.
Sixth Line between Elm Road and Upper Middle is closed in both directions.
