On April 7, 2014 at 11:09 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Dawson Road to investigate a cyclist struck by a motor vehicle. It is alleged that the motor vehicle failed to yield for the cyclist, striking him. The cyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
