On November 11, 2015 members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service arrested two Kitchener males for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking . A subsequent search yielded quantities of heroin and crystal methamphetamine. Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants were subsequently executed on a Waterloo residence and a Kitchener business. Seized during these warrants were further quantities of crystal methamphetamine and marihuana, cash, a prohibited weapon, and stolen identification. Both males were held in police custody pending the outcome of show cause hearings on November 12, 2015. Waterloo Regional Police are committed to working in partnership with the community to curtail illegal drugs and drug activity.
