On Friday, June 10, 2016, at 12:32 a.m., members of the London Police Service responded to a crossbow shooting that occurred on Fellner Avenue.
Upon arrival, Officers located an adult male in his forties with an arrow lodged in his left shoulder. The male was transported to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim and the accused are known to one another. The victim is currently in hospital in stable condition. Due to the nature of the relationship between the two, neither will be identified
The London Police Service have charged a 45 year-old adult female, of London, with one count of aggravated assault, contrary to Section 268(2), of the Criminal Code of Canada.
