(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Saturday morning July 16, 2016, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received calls from Lavery St. West residents in Listowel reporting smashed windows on their vehicles.
Investigation revealed that sometime between 2 and 7 a.m. on Saturday July 16th an unknown person(s) smashed and damaged the windows of seven vehicles that were parked near residences on Lavery St. West in the area of Hay Ave. South. None of the seven vehicles contents appear to have been removed.
At 10:30 a.m. on Saturday July 16th, a Listowel resident was attending and inside the Main St. East TD Canada Trust in Listowel when an unknown suspect(s) threw a rock through the rear window of the resident’s vehicle. Nothing from inside the vehicle was removed.
The Perth County OPP is requesting the public’s assistance in trying to identify the culprit(s) in these senseless mischiefs. Anyone who may have heard unusual noises, people talking, or observed suspicious individuals in mischief locations, is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
