(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – On January 14, 2018, at approximately 5:45 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a vehicle theft that occurrence on Main Street, Parkhill.
The complainant attended a business on Main Street and left the vehicle running with the keys in the ignition and a full tank of fuel.
The complainant exited the store and helplessly watched the vehicle heading northbound on Main Street.
Middlesex OPP would like to remind the public to never leave your vehicle unattended and running when entering a business or to warm up before work in the morning. We all love a warm car on a cold morning. That includes opportunistic thieves. Leaving your car running
