Incident: On May 14, 2015 at approximately 3:00 p.m. a Brantford woman called 9-1-1 to report that her x-boyfriend was trying to break down her door. The victim yelled out to the accused that she was calling police and he fled the area in his car. Community Patrol Officers observed 2 exterior damaged doors when they arrived. The victim reported that while she drove home this afternoon she observed her x-boyfriend following her in his car. The victim pulled up to her residence with a male passenger and the two entered the home. The accused also pulled up to the victim’s home, exited his vehicle and attempted to engage in conversation with the victim. The victim advised that they ignored the accused and entered the home locking the door behind them. A short time later the accused was heard yelling and banging at the door. The accused broke in the first exterior door and started kicking at a second door which had been locked by dead bolt. The accused fled when he was told police were on their way. The second door was also damaged. Shortly before 5:00 p.m. Officers who had made contact with the accused via telephone had made arrangements to meet the accused regarding the investigation. The accused was arrested and aharged with the following offences;

Break and Enter

Mischief under $5,000.00

Criminal Harassment

Further the accused is also charged with the following offences which took place while the victim was in a relationship with the accused;

Assault with a Weapon

Assault X3

Assault Causing Bodily Harm

Mischief under $5,000.00

Theft under $5,000.00

Uttering Threats

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing

Type: Shoplifting

Date: May 14, 2015

Incident: 15-14673

Location: King George Road (300 block)

Incident: On May 14, 2015 at around 5:00 p.m. a 24 year old Brantford woman entered a business on King George Road. The woman was observed by Loss Prevention selecting merchandise and concealing them in her personal bag. The woman than exited the store without attempting to make any attempt to pay for the hidden items. The accused was arrested and the merchandise recovered. Numerous items were recovered including food and makeup. The value of stolen property was just shy of $500.

Further the accused had in her possession a stolen cellular telephone and identification not belonging to her. Investigation revealed that cell phone and identification had been previously stolen in Brantford. Further the accused was on four separate probation orders for convictions of Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property under $5000.00, Fail to Comply with Recognizance, Obstruct Police and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The accused a 24 year old Brantford woman is charged with the following offences;

*Theft under $5,000.00

*Possession of Stolen Property under $5,000.00 X2

Breach of Probation X4
