Date: March 24, 2015

Incident: On the morning of Tuesday March 24, 2015 a citizen attended the BPS to report finding money in a parking lot at a grocery store in Brantford. The citizen had found the Canadian currency lying on the ground next to the citizen’s car. The money valued at fewer than two hundred dollars was turned over to the BPS. Anyone with information is asked to call the BPS Resource Officer Desk.

Type: Break and Enter – Residential Shed

Date: March 25, 2015

Location: Pearl Street

Incident: On March 25, 2015 sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. unknown person(s) broke into a residential shed on Pearl Street. A lock was cut off in order to gain entry. Two E-bikes, one purple and one silver were reported stolen from the shed.

Date: March 25, 2015

Location: Dufferin Avenue

Incident: On March 25, 2015 at around 5:00 p.m. a shed was reported entered sometime in the last 24 hours. The residential shed was located at the rear of a property on Dufferin Avenue. Two sets of golf clubs and a youth bike were amongst the items reported stolen.

Date: March 25, 2015

Incident: On March 25, 2015 the father of a 13 year old girl contacted the BPS to report a theft involving his daughter. Information was received that the father had noticed a suspicious withdrawal from his personal bank account involving a personal cheque written which he had no knowledge of. A Community Patrol Officer investigated and concluded that the 13 year old daughter had stolen some personal cheques from her father. As a result of the investigation a 13 year old Brantford teen was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing. The accused is charged with;

Theft under $5,000.00

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000.00

Location: Brantwood Park Road (300 block)

Incident: On Thursday March 26, 2015 at approximately 6:30 a.m. a truck was reported stolen. Sometime overnight a 2004 GMC Sierra pickup truck white in colour containing numerous tools was reported stolen.
