Incident: On Wednesday March 18, 2015 at approximately 4:15 a.m. an alert citizen telephoned 9-1-1 emergency after hearing the sound of glass breaking. A front window had been broken and entry gained to the business. Several bottles of alcohol were reported stolen.

Incident: Sometime overnight on March 17, 2015 a vehicle parked in a driveway on Japonica Crescent was entered. A cellular telephone was reported stolen.

Incident: On Wednesday March 18, 2015 at approximately 8:24 p.m. an employee from Brantford Transit reported damage to a bus shelter. The transit shelter located at the corner of Colborne Street and Garden Avenue was reported completely destroyed. The glass had been smashed and the metal rails were knocked out of their brackets. City yards department also attended to clean up debris from the broken glass which was found on the roadway. It is unknown the time frame of when this incident took place. Anyone with information is asked to contact the BPS or Crime Stoppers.

Location: South Street
Incident: On Wednesday March 18, 2015 at 8:49 p.m. a citizen telephoned 9-1-1 emergency to report a break and enter in progress. Two men were inside a multiple unit residence and were kicking in a door to one of the rented residential rooms. Community Patrol Officers found two men inside of the residential unit and a third involved man sitting in a vehicle parked in the driveway of the residence. Officers arrested an 18 and 19 year old found inside of the home for break and enter. Officers observed drug paraphernalia being Ziploc baggies, a scale, a bong, and a small amount of marihuana, with a street value of $20.00 in plain view inside the room the accused parties had broken into.
The 18 year old Brantford man, accused #1 was also found to have crack cocaine hidden in his under garments. The crack cocaine had a street value of $370.00. Further, accused #1, had in his possession a drug debt list and cash which were both seized by Officers. Accused #1 is charged with Break and Enter, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
The 19 year old Brantford man, accused #2 is also charged with Break and Enter, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
The third party involved a 55 year old Simcoe man was arrested in connection with the Break and Enter. Accused #3 had on his possession marihuana with a street value of $35.00, and drug paraphernalia.
Accused #3 is charged with Break and Enter and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
All three accused were arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing.

Incident: On March 18, 2015 between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. two vehicle’s parked in a driveway on Drummond Street were broken into. Change and gum were reported stolen. .
