Type: Theft from Motor Vehicle

Location: Darling Street (100 block)

Date: April 10, 2015

Incident: Sometime overnight on April 8, 2015 a vehicle parked in an underground parking lot on Darling Street was entered. The interior contents were ransacked and loose change was reported stolen

Type: Trespasser

Date: April 9, 2015

Location: Palace Street

Incident: Shortly after 11:00 p.m. on April 9, 2015 a citizen from Palace Street dialed 9-1-1 emergency to report a trespasser. A citizen had observed an unknown man in his backyard rummaging through his property. The citizen confronted the man who fled the area on a bicycle.

The suspicious man is described as a white man, clean shaven approximately 30 years of age and wearing a black hooded coat. It is suspected that the man was looking for scrap metal items to steal as the bicycle had a box on the back of the bike reported to be full of copper wire. The male was last seen travelling on Duke Street towards West Street.

Type: Disturbance – Arrest

Date: April 10, 2015

Location: Erie Avenue

Incident: On April 10, 2015 at approximately 4:30 a.m. Community Patrol Officers attended to an address on Erie Avenue regarding a report of four to five persons outside yelling. On arrival Officers observed at least four persons scatter on foot into different directions. An Officer stopped one of the males and arrested him on an outstanding warrant. The 29 year old Brantford man had failed to appear in court stemming from original charges of possession under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. The accused was held in custody for bail hearing.
