CRASH RESULTS IN CLOSURE OF HWY 8 NEAR MITCHELL 2012-11-26
(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) A two vehicle crash shortly before 8 a.m. on Monday November 26, 2012, has resulted in the closure of Hwy. 8 east of Mitchell.
Traffic is currently being diverted around the crash scene which is located on Hwy. 8 (Line 34) east of Road 160. Highway 8 between Road 160 and Road 155 has been closed with barricades.
The highway will remain closed for an undetermined length of time to allow for a safe investigation into this collision. Further details of this collision will be released as they become available. The public is requested to find alternate routes of travel around the scene.
