Craig KETTLEWELL – 137 in an 70

(KINLOSS TWP, ON) – On March 17, 2014 at 12:44 am, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Highway 9 in Greenock Township noticed a Grey Ford Taurus moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle’s speed was displayed on radar at 137 km/h in a posted 70 km/h zone. The driver was signaled to stop, but chose to continue driving at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle made some quick turns in the village of Lucknow, before it was found, stopped, with the engine running, behind the Mac’s Milk store. The driver was no longer with the car. Officers continued the investigation and identified the man that was driving the suspect vehicle.

24 year old Craig KETTLEWELL of Hanover has been charged with Race a motor vehicle, Use plates not authorized and 2 counts of Fail to stop for police. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 15, 2014 to answer to the charges.
