CPR Saves Life At School

Just before 9pm on January 24th, Guelph police, fire and ambulance were called to the gym of a Guelph grade school when a 54 year-old man collapsed in the gym while he was playing basketball. CPR was performed and credited with saving the man’s life and he regained consciousness before being transported to hospital for follow-up care.

Break-in

A Vanier Drive resident returned home after work on January 24th and found the glass in front door broken. It is believed that the unknown suspect(s) exited back through the front door after taking a laptop and foreign currency.

Heroin found during arrest

At approximately 11am on January 24th, police located a male at Gordon Street establishment who was wanted for fraud and breach of recognizance charges. When they arrested the 25 year-old Guelph man, they found what is believed to heroin in his possession. He was also charge with drug possession and is scheduled to appear in bail today.
