In December of 2013, Waterloo Regional Police Service arrested a female for passing counterfeit bank notes. That investigation revealed that the female was linked to additional incidents occurring in Guelph. Continued investigation alleges that between August 2013 and December 2013 the female went to various retailers throughout Guelph passing counterfeit Canadian and US bank notes. On January16, 2014 an arrest was made.
Jenna MCARTHUR, 29 years of Kitchener has been charged with six counts of utter counterfeit money. She will appear in court on February 28, 2014.
