As a result of further investigation, the accused, Jenna Marie McArthur, has been charged with the following additional criminal offences: Making Counterfeit Money, Utter Counterfeit Money (10 counts), Laundering Proceeds of Crime and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

Waterloo Regional Police have been actively investigating a number of counterfeit currency complaints where Canadian $20 bills have been passed at area businesses. On Monday December 16th 2013, a 29 year old Barrie female was arrested and charged with 10 counts of Uttering Counterfeit Money. She is being held for a bail hearing and it is anticipated that more charges will follow. Police are still receiving reports of additional occurrences.
