(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Monday February 04, 2013, shortly after 9 a.m. Perth County OPP officers on patrol observed a suspicious pickup truck in a gravel pit along Line 2 (south west of St.Marys). They observed two males loading electrical cables into the pickup truck. The males attempted to flee the scene when police arrived but were stopped and arrested.
Investigation revealed that the electrical cables had been cut and removed from the portable asphalt plant located in the gravel pit.
Cory SCHEUERMANN (27) of the Township of Perth South, and Daniel NOBLE (24) of St.Marys have been charged with break, enter a place with intent to commit indictable offenceÂ, and with theft over $5000. They are scheduled to appear in Stratford Court on Monday March 18, 2013 to answer to these charges.
