(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron OPP officers are investigating a break, enter and theft from the Hydro One substation located on London Road in Vanastra. The theft took place sometime between September 29, 2012 and October 2, 2012. The thief stole two partial spools of #4 ground wire that were marked “Republic Wire Inc.â€Â, a Stihl chainsaw and a gas powered Stihl drill. Both of the power tools had “Hydro One†etched into them.
A red, 1994 to 2000 model Chevrolet pickup had been seen in and around the property on September 29, 2012.
