Barrie Police were called to the area of Anne St and Victoria St for a male stealing copper piping from a construction site.
Police were able to locate a 51 year old male who was carrying stolen copper piping.
The male was identified and found to be on a recognizance for similar charges.
The male was arrested for theft under $5000 and taken to the Barrie Police Service for a bail hearing.
All stolen property was recovered.
