The Co-op program at Central Huron Secondary School has seen many successes over the years. Whether students have an interest in culinary arts, skilled trades, early childhood education, graphic design or communications technology, the staff at CHSS provide access to students to explore a variety of options to help them make more informed decisions about post secondary education and their career pathway.
More and more businesses in the area are saying yes to co-op students and it turns more students are saying yes to co-op education. This is a great opportunity for high school students to jumpstart their careers, gain valuable hands on experience or to see if the career path they have in mind is right for them.
We spoke with some students at CHSS to find out about their experience with co-operative education.
