(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating a break, enter and theft to a historical building that was in the midst of a renovation.
A large number of contractor’s tools were stolen over the weekend from a jobsite located at the former train station on Maitland Road North in Goderich.
Sometime between 5:00 p.m. on February 24th and 8:30 a.m. on February 27th, 2017 those responsible forced entry into the building through a makeshift plywood door. Once inside the building the thieves stole a variety of contractor grade power tools.
A value for the stolen property has not been provided.
