(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Thursday morning August 05, 2010 Perth County OPP officers were called to a rural home on Line 89 north east of Listowel where a theft was reported.
Investigation revealed that the rural home which was under construction had been entered sometime between 6 p.m. on Wednesday August 04 and 8:30 a.m. on Thursday August 05. Once inside the thief/thieves removed a Red, Milwaukee table saw (Model #6955-20 Serial # B26-A910070023) along with its stand (Model #48-08-0550). A Red Milwaukee reciprocating saw, drill and impact gun were also taken. A grey/blue circular hand saw was also stolen. Two spools of electrical wire were removed, one spool was yellow with approximately 120m of 12/2NMD 90 residential wire the other spool had 50m of 8/3NMD 90 residential wire.
The thief/thieves also went as far as using a torch to remove ten 4.5 meter sections of copper piping from the garage wall.
A pickup truck or van would have been required to remove the property.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area of Line 89 on Wednesday night or Thursday morning to contact them.
