Community Safety Notification, Michael Boyd Ryan, 44, wanted, Risk to re-offend, photograph released

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a Community Safety Notification.

On Wednesday, October 2, 2013, Michael Boyd Ryan, 44, was released from prison after completing an aggregate sentence of 13 years, four months, and 15 days for:

1) Robbery

2) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over

3) Theft Under

4) Sexual Assault

5) Sexual Assault Causing Bodily Harm

6) Sexual Assault with a Weapon

7) Possession of a Weapon/Dangerous Purpose and Carry Concealed Weapon

He was held in custody for the full duration of his sentence. During his incarceration, he was deemed to be in the high range of risk for general, violent and sexual recidivism.

Prior to his release, he was placed on a Criminal Code Section 810.2 Recognizance requiring him to abide by numerous conditions, including:

1) To report weekly, in person, to the Toronto Police Service

2) Notify the Toronto Police Service of any change in address, or if he is leaving the Toronto area

He is currently wanted for breaching the terms of the above Recognizance order.

The Toronto Police Service is notifying the public because of his potential to re-offend.
