Committal Warrant

A 26 year old Barrie male called Police to report his mother’s truck was stolen while he was entrusted to watch it. He reported that the vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside the truck. The male had an outstanding Committal Warrant for Driving Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. Barrie Police Service arrested the male and he was transported by the Ontario Provincial Police straight to jail to serve his 15 day sentence. Police remind everyone to lock their vehicles and not to store their keys inside their cars or trucks.
