Collision With Deer Sends 2 To Hospital

(GREENOCK TWP, ON) – On June 25th, 2011 at 4:30 pm, the South Bruce OPP was called to a crash on Bruce County Road 4, south of Highway 9, Greenock Township. Officers arrived on scene to find that a motorcycle had been travelling north bound on County Road 4 when a deer jumped onto the road, causing the crash. 74 year old Harry SMILEY of Kincardine and his passenger, 70 year old Bobbi SMILEY of Kincardine were taken to Walkerton hospital for assessment of their injuries. They have since been transported to a London hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
