MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Friday March 11, 2011 shortly before 7 a.m. a collision between two pickup trucks on Hwy. 8 between Road 145 and Road 150 caused traffic delays and lane closures.
Perth County OPP investigation revealed that both pickup trucks were travelling in opposite directions when they collided. One female driver was transported to Stratford General Hospital with minor injuries.
As a result of the heavy snowfall and the traffic having to drive around the collision scene two transport trucks ended up sliding into the ditch near Road 145.
Perth County OPP continue to investigate these collisions.
