On Saturday, February 6th, 2016, a motor vehicle collision occurred on Water Street North near Todd Street in the City of Cambridge. A Toyota motor vehicle driven by an 18 year old Cambridge male, rear ended a BMW motor vehicle driven by a 28 year old Cambridge male. Both vehicles were travelling north at the time of the collision. There were three passengers in the BMW, a 63 year old male, a 63 year old female and a 92 year old female. All the passengers were Cambridge residents. All the occupants of the BMW were transported to Cambridge Memorial Hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries. Some lanes of Water Street North were blocked off for approximately 90 minutes while police investigated. The driver of the Toyota was charged with Careless Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
