(WEST NIPSSING, ON.) – On July 6, 2015 at approximately 10:06 am, the Noelville and Warren Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 17 near Arcand Rd, in the Municipality of West Nipissing.
An SUV (Small Utility Vehicle) was traveling eastbound on Highway 17 near Arcand Rd and collided with an east bound pick-up truck.
Five people were involved. There were no reported injuries. Alcohol, road, and environmental conditions were not a factor in this collision.
As a result of the investigation, the driver of the SUV namely Lawrence BUEY, 27 years of age from Montreal was charged with Careless Driving contrary to section 130 of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
