(SOUTH HURON, ON) – A single motor vehicle crash that occurred southeast of Exeter late last night has claimed the life of a 23-year-old from South Huron.
Shortly after 11:00 p.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Huron County Paramedic Services and South Huron Fire Department personnel were dispatched to attend a single motor vehicle crash located on Elimville Line between Kirkton Road and Crediton Road.
The preliminary investigation has determined the lone occupant/male driver was travelling northbound on Elimville Line in a Toyota Rav 4 when for undetermined reasons his vehicle left the roadway, entered into the west ditch, launched into the air and ultimately came to rest on its side in an open field.
The driver was ejected and was found to be unresponsive. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The deceased has been identified as Tyler GLENN, 23 years of age from South Huron.
Investigators from the West Region OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) Team attended the scene to assist with the collision investigation.
