(HOWICK, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to investigate a two-vehicle crash that occurred earlier today just north of Clifford.
Just before 10:00 a.m. Huron County & Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with along with paramedics from Wellington County and firefighters from the Minto Fire Department attended the crash scene located on Highway 9 (Elora Street) just south of Huron-Bruce Road.
The preliminary investigation has determined the driver of a Ford Focus was travelling north on Highway 9 when she spun out of control into the path of a southbound Cadillac SRX resulting in a head-on crash.
The driver of the Ford Focus, a 32-year-old female from Walkerton was transported to hospital in London by air ambulance. She remains in hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The 66-year-old driver of the Cadillac and his 64-year-old female passenger both from Mildmay, were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The roadway re-opened at 3:30 p.m.
