(PERTH SOUTH, ON) β On Wednesday February 1, 2017 Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was notified of a collision at the intersection of the Perth Oxford Road in Township of Perth South and the 11th Line of Zorra Township.
Through investigation it was determined that shortly before noon a collision occurred between a Volvo wagon that had been travelling east bound on the Perth Oxford Road and a white GMC Sierra pick-up truck that had been travelling north bound on the 11th Line of Zorra Township. The pick-up, as a result of the initial impact, then struck a hydro pole. After the collision the driver of the pickup involved in this collision got into another dark colored Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck that had been following it and fled the scene. Both of these pick-up trucks were reported stolen.
There was significant damage to both motor vehicles involved in this collision, but no reported injuries.
The driver that fled the scene is described as white, male, 19 to 25 years-of-age, thin build, wearing baggy clothing and a flat brimmed hat.
