Collision In Owen Sound Sends Chevrolet Cruze Airborne

On 30 May 2017 at approximately 3:47pm the Owen Sound Police responded to the 1000 block of 12 th Street East regarding a motor vehicle collision.

The investigation revealed that a 2016 Toyota Camry being driven by a 61 year old female from Owen Sound was east bound on 12 th Street East. The 61 year old female attempted to make a left hand turn into a private drive and drove across the path of a west bound 2015 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 43 year old female from Owen Sound. The Chevrolet Cruze was sent airborne over a hedge coming to rest on private property.

The 61 year old female received minor injuries and both vehicles were towed from the scene with major damage.

The 61 year old female was charged with making an unsafe left turn.
