Cody Richards – Multiple Gas Thefts

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers have charged a 25 year old male with two counts of theft under $5,000 following two incidents where he failed to pay for his gasoline fill up. Officers were notified of the theft on May 17, 2013. An employee at the Shell gas station located on Main Street North in Exeter witnessed the driver of a Pontiac Grand Am pump around $30 worth of gasoline and after doing so the driver took off without paying. The employee provided police with a detailed suspect description and licence plate of the suspect vehicle. Officers were able to locate the male and upon questioning he admitted to both thefts.

Cody RICHARDS, 25, from South Huron has been charged with two counts of theft. He has a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter on June 27, 2013.
