(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Sunday September 26, 2010 around 4 a.m. a Perth County OPP officer stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 8 east of Mitchell. The male driver was given a roadside test. The driver failed the test and was arrested. He was transported to the Stratford Police Station where he provided breath samples that resulted in readings of over .80 mgs. on the Intoxilyzer.
Cody DeVries (24) a West Perth resident was charged exceeding 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol Content while operating a motor vehicle. He is to appear in Stratford criminal court on November 15, 2010 to answer to this charge. He was also served a 90 day drivers licence suspension.
