(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) – On Wednesday October 14, 2015 shortly after 10 a.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to Perth Road 107 north of Amulree, where an unattended pickup truck belonging to COCO Paving was stolen.
Investigation revealed that the pickup truck had been parked on the east side of Perth Road 107 north of Line 45. The truck was parked facing southbound while the driver was operating road paving equipment a short distance away. The truck was last observed at 10 a.m. The keys to the unlocked vehicle had been left inside.
Description of pickup truck:
– Red 2005 Chevrolet Silverado model C250 4 doors
– “COCO PAVING” sign on both sides of the vehicle
– Ontario licence plates 406OXR
– Had a lit up back rack with flashing beacon lights
– 2 chrome plated tool boxes over each wheel well
– 130 litre diesel fuel tank in the box.
