Cocaine Bust – 5 Arrested

Early Wednesday morning members of the Barrie Police Street Crime Unit and Tactical Support Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on an Owen Street residence. Officers commenced an investigation into a male believed to be dealing cocaine and heroin which subsequently led them to the Owen Street address. During the warrant, 5 individuals were arrested.

1. 49 year old Barrie male – Possession of a Controlled Substance x 2 – Cocaine/Heroin, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x2 – Cocaine/Heroin. Bail Hearing

2. 36 year old Barrie female – Arrested on an outstanding warrant for Fail to Appear and Theft. Bail Hearing

3. 52 year old Barrie male – Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine. Released with a future court date.

4. 51 year old Barrie male – Released unconditionally

5. 45 year old Barrie male – Released unconditionally

Seized during the search warrant at the residence was a quantity of cocaine, heroin, prescription narcotics and currency.
