(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP, ON) – On February 2, 2018, the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant in the 500 block of Princess Anne Street Mount Forest, Ontario.
A quantity of illicit narcotics was seized including Cannabis, Cannabis Resin, Cocaine and Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD). A prohibited weapon and a quantity of Canadian currency were also seized.
The approximate street value of the narcotics seizure is estimated at $15000.
Three Mount Forest, Ontario men are in custody pending a bail hearing on February 3, 2018. A fourth Mount Forest, Ontario man will be summoned to appear in a Guelph, Ontario court at a later date.
Further details will be provided upon arraignment of all accused persons.
