(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), members from the Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) and members from the Forensic Identification Services Unit (FIS) continue to investigate several school break, enter and thefts that have occurred throughout Huron County this spring.
The most recent break, enter and theft took place at St. Joseph’s Catholic Elementary School located on Smith Street North in Clinton. Sometime between 5:00 p.m. on June 7th and 9:00 a.m. on June 8, 2018 those responsible forced entry into the school through a classroom window. Once inside the school the thief stole a black, Dell laptop computer and two USB drives that were attached to the computer.
The stolen laptop is valued at approximately $2,000.
