(WELLINGTON COUNTY, ON) Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) wants to remind motorists the importance of clearing all snow and ice from your vehicle. Driving a motor vehicle with partially cleared windows is not only a hazard to you but also to others on the road. Under the Highway Traffic Act it is illegal to not have a clear view out the windshield and to the sides. The fine for this violation is $110.
Please be considerate and take the time to remove all ice and snow from your vehicle before driving, especially from the hood, windows and roof.
